Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to understand their needs, challenges, and goals.

• Prepare and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients’ unique situations and circumstances.

• Provide therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families via telehealth platforms, adjusting approaches based on client feedback and progress.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with confidentiality regulations.

• Engage in regular collaboration with other mental health professionals, medical providers, and community resources to optimize client care and outcomes.

• Stay current with best practices in counseling and therapy, actively participating in supervision, consultation, and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work primarily with a diverse client base at Westwood Behavioral Health Center, including marginalized communities and individuals experiencing a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. Our clients include children, adolescents, and adults, all seeking guidance, coping mechanisms, and therapeutic support tailored to their individual needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling or a related field is a minimum requirement; a Master’s degree is strongly preferred.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• At least 2 years of professional counseling experience, demonstrating an ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to inspire trust and rapport with clients.

• A strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines in practice.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
