Key Responsibilities Deliver personalized therapeutic sessions using strategic, evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of clients at various life stages. Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health concerns and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans. Provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families using a range of methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy. Document critical clinical information accurately and responsibly, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines while maintaining confidentiality. Engage in regular professional development workshops to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health therapies and practices. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work within a diverse client population, focusing on couples and families facing relational issues, individuals dealing with trauma, substance abuse, and a variety of mental health disorders. Your expertise will guide clients through critical life challenges, creating a safe, trusting space for recovery and growth. Qualifications Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field. Current and unrestricted licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Virginia. Minimum of two years of experience providing therapeutic interventions in a clinical setting. A strong grasp of ethical and legal standards essential for conducting effective therapy. Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software for documentation and patient management. Preferred Experience Specialization in family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse interventions is highly preferred. Proven track record of collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to improve patient outcomes. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from varying backgrounds. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, inclusive of potential bonuses for meeting performance goals.
