This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote telehealth environment, allowing you to connect with clients through virtual platforms. You will work with a diverse client population from the Islip area of New York, offering the convenience of teletherapy to individuals who may otherwise struggle to access mental health services. Your workspace will be your own, providing a suitable atmosphere for private consultations while ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards in line with legal and ethical guidelines.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments remotely to identify co-occurring conditions and tailor individualized treatment plans to meet each client's unique needs.

• Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic strategies that address the multifaceted aspects of addiction and mental health issues.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, addressing addiction-related challenges, trauma, and various underlying psychological concerns.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on evaluations and feedback for optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers—including psychiatrists, social workers, and addiction counselors—to foster a comprehensive and integrated treatment approach.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health, coping mechanisms, and the principles of recovery and wellness.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential records of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
