The ideal candidate brings a strong background in electrical systems, diagnostics, and hands-on experience working with trucks. This individual is a problem-solver who thrives in high-impact situations, can analyze data to identify root causes, and is comfortable working directly with dealers, customers, and internal teams. Leadership capability, the ability to manage complex technical issues, and a willingness to travel are essential for success in this role.ResponsibilitiesProvide advanced technical support and problem resolution for complex issues reported from the fieldDiagnose and troubleshoot vehicle systems using data acquisition and analysis toolsConduct root cause analysis for product quality concerns and implement containment actionsMonitor and validate the effectiveness of corrective solutionsSupport dealers and customers through direct engagement, including onsite visits as neededDeliver technical guidance and training to customer support personnel and stakeholdersManage large-scale technical cases or end-to-end processes with minimal supervisionUtilize ticketing systems to track, prioritize, and resolve technical issuesCollaborate with engineering, quality, and service teams to drive issue resolutionCoach, mentor, and delegate work to less experienced team membersQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience8+ years of relevant experience in technical support, engineering, or a related fieldHands-on experience working with trucks strongly preferredStrong expertise in electrical systems, including wiring and harness troubleshootingExperience with diagnostic tools, data acquisition, and technical data analysisIn-depth knowledge of powertrain, chassis, and electrical/electronic systemsExperience in a test engineering or product support environmentFamiliarity with workshop service practices and repair proceduresAbility to manage complex technical issues independentlyStrong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skillsWillingness to travel as requiredAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, age, genetic information, or pregnancy.Compliance Notice: Alten USA is a federal contractor subject to the requirements of the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) and Executive Order 11246.
