Bookkeeper
We're seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage accounting, and administrative processes for a growing residential construction company. This role supports both financial accuracy and operational efficiency across remodeling and new construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain all bookkeeping in Quickbooks
- Process accounts payable (Vendor bills) and accounts receivables (client invoicing)
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor accounts
- Coordinate with CPA for tax filings and monthly reporting
- Allocate labor, materials, subcontractor, and overhead correctly
- Prepare weekly AR / AP reports to leadership team
- Engage with HR to process job costing payroll
- Maintain company fleet records
- Maintain general business records (License, insurance, etc.)
- Monitor cash position and support forecasting
Skills/Requirements:
- 5+years of bookkeeping / accounting experience
- Construction industry experience strongly preferred
- Advanced QuickBooks experience (QB Online)
- Experience with Job costing
- Strong Microsoft office experience, especially Excel
- Highly organized and comfortable working across finance and operations
- Construction software experience (Buildertrend) or ability to learn quickly
