Work Environment\n

This position is designed to support the needs of our patients while offering you a collaborative remote work environment. Working hours will generally be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility depending on patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to ascertain patients' needs and identify appropriate interventions.

• Develop and implement personalized evidence-based treatment plans using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups aimed at building community and addressing common mental health challenges.

• Provide crisis intervention services for individuals experiencing acute mental health distress.
\n
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to legal requirements.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to promote consistent and coordinated patient care.

• Stay informed about the latest developments and research in mental health therapy to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.

• Educate patients regarding their mental health conditions, potential treatment options, and available community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families grappling with various mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and proficiency in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and effective treatment planning.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with a variety of patient demographics.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers an attractive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
