The role involves managing a diverse portfolio of clients, including C‑corps, S‑corps, and high net‑worth individuals, and providing a broad range of tax services. The Tax Manager will manage tax compliance, preparation, planning, advisory, returns, and research within a fast‑paced, challenging environment. Responsibilities Manage and oversee the tax planning, preparation, and filing processes for C‑corps, S‑corps, and high net worth individuals. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. Conduct detailed tax research to identify and mitigate tax risks and optimize tax strategies. Provide tax advisory services to clients and help them understand tax implications of business decisions. Prepare accurate and timely tax returns, and assist clients with audits and disputes. Develop and maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service. Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, and update clients and team members on any changes that may affect them. Collaborate with other team members to achieve business goals and contribute to continuous improvement of our tax processes and procedures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Tax Coach (CTC) designation is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a tax manager role or a similar role in the finance industry. In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and experience with tax planning, preparation, compliance, and research. Experience managing a diverse portfolio of clients, including C‑corps, S‑corps, and high net‑worth individuals. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong commitment to ethical standards and a high level of integrity.
