Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW at Sunrise Valley, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand the unique needs of each client and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Implement solution-focused therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, tailoring each session to the client’s goals and progress.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that all client records are handled with the utmost confidentiality.

• Engage in regular collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and addiction specialists, to provide holistic care for clients.

• Lead case consultations and participate in peer review meetings to continually enhance care quality and therapeutic approaches.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health and substance use disorders, fostering a greater understanding and empowering them in their recovery journeys.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals undergoing detoxification from substances, including alcohol, opioids, and other drugs, who may also be dealing with co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, or trauma-related conditions. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, necessitating a culturally competent approach in providing care that respects their unique experiences and circumstances.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid and unrestricted LCSW license in the state of Texas.
