If this sounds like a culture you would like to work in, you’re invited to apply for this role.Job DescriptionUnder direct supervision, this positions works on the most complex clerical functions related to accounting activities.• Use automated accounting systems to perform data collection and data input• May provide guidance to lower level technicians and clerks• May interface with other groups inside and outside the organization, vendors, and project personnel• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards• Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed• Adhere to and support Fluor’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies• Other duties as assignedBasic Job Requirements• A combination of education and directly related experience equal to five (5) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective mannerOther Job RequirementsPreferred Qualifications• High school diploma or global equivalent with preference for accounting education in a technical or advanced education environment• Some prior accounting experience in a similar environment• Five (5) years of job related accounting/accounts payable experience• Strong interpersonal and communication skills• Lotus Notes experience preferred• Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentationsTo be Considered Candidates:Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.We are an equal opportunity employer.
