A privately held real estate investment, development, and operating company is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to oversee the financial and accounting functions of a growing real estate platform. The CFO will work closely with senior leadership and ownership and serve as a key member of the executive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting, finance, and financial reporting functions
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Oversee banking, lending, and financing relationships
- Manage financial reporting across real estate assets and development projects
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and financial processes
- Coordinate tax planning, audits, and relationships with outside accounting professionals
- Provide financial analysis related to acquisitions, investments, development projects, and financing opportunities
- Oversee and develop the accounting and finance team
- Partner closely with ownership and senior management on financial strategy and key business decisions
Qualifications:
- Significant senior-level accounting and finance experience within real estate
- Background with real estate ownership, development, investment, or property operations
- Strong financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and analytical experience
- Experience working within a privately held or entrepreneurial organization strongly preferred
- CPA and/or strong technical accounting background preferred
Salary: $275,000 - $350,000
