RN Med/Surg

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) specialty provides skilled nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, focusing on patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning. The RN collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care. This night shift role requires at least two years of relevant experience and current licensure to practice in Colorado, with additional certifications preferred. Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and care provided.
• Respond to patient needs and emergencies during night shifts.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado.
• Minimum of two years relevant nursing experience, preferably in a Med/Surg setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Specialty certification in Medical/Surgical nursing or related specialty area.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire or within six months.

• Night shift work in a hospital environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team setting.
• Compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.

• Night shift schedule.
• Shift assignments determined by hospital staffing requirements.
