We're looking for people who think big, act fearlessly, and create an inclusive environment that drives positive impact to join our team.What You'll DoAs an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will utilize an ERP system to run reports, process customer payments including ACH, wire transfers, checks and credit card transactions. You will also process adjustments, reconcile bank statements, prepare audit packets and work closely with internal business units and external customers to resolve payment issues. Posting daily cash requires a high level of detail; analyzing multiple reports, manual intervention and extensive research working with internal and external departments to apply payments accordingly.The Day-to-DayYou will be responsible for complex month-end account reconciliations, prepare and track proforma invoices, refund packets and perform other cash related duties including ad hoc reporting and any additional Accounts Receivable projects. Your strong organizational skills and attention to detail will ensure accuracy in our Cash Applications system. You will use your excellent written and verbal communication skills to respond to email inquiries and phone calls in a high-volume environment.What You'll Need5+ years Accounts Receivable experienceProven organizational skills with ability to multitaskExcellent skills with Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel, Word, and OutlookAbility to work comfortably within tight deadlinesExcellent communication skills – both written and oralExperience with high-volume, fast paced environmentExperience working with a large ERP systemCash applications experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentUS Citizenship requiredWhat Will Help You On The JobOracle ERP system experienceSalary Range$24.28 - $38.46 / hourly. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $30.29 - $45.19/ hourly At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
