Accounts Receivable Specialist

In this Accounts Receivable role, you'll receive hands-on experience while contributing to a team focused on efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Process and issue customer invoices accurately and on time
- Apply customer payments, including ACH, wire transfers, checks, and credit cards
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short pays, and unapplied cash
- Maintain accurate customer account records
- Assist with account reconciliations and month-end close activities
- Prepare AR reports and provide collection updates to management
- Partner with Accounting, Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to resolve issues
- Assist with process improvement and creating efficiencies
- 1+ years of accounts receivable experience or equivalent accounting education preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and work effectively in a team environment
