The Accounting Assistant supports a specific department by performing essential accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial records and efficient processing of transactions. This role requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills to assist with various day-to-day accounting functions.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry of financial transactions
- Process invoices and ensure timely payments
- Reconcile accounts to maintain accuracy
- Track expenses for budget management
- Support financial reporting activities
- Handle customer inquiries related to accounts
- Maintain and organize financial documents and files
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of bookkeeping principles
- Experience with accounts payable and receivable
- Strong data entry skills
