Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans that align with client goals.

• Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused strategies.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of client information.

• Participate in regular multidisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on client care, share insights, and refine treatment approaches.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to remain updated on mental health advancements and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Tranquil Trail Behavioral Center, you will primarily work with individuals and families experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our focus is on clients who may have limited access to care, and we strive to provide them with the support and resources they need to thrive.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, particularly in a clinical setting.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards pertinent to mental health practice.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with diverse clients.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software and related technologies to manage client documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in specialized areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse treatment, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
