We follow a common PATH of being Passionate, Authentic, Trustworthy, & Hardworking.The Corporate Accountant is a key contributor to operations of the corporate accounting function, property accounting, and treasury components of the organization. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate reporting for multiple corporate entities, accounting for both HVG-owned hotels, treasury processing and analytics, and other projects as assigned.Key Responsibilities:Accountability for the month end close cycle for all corporate entities and hotels to include:Journal EntriesBank ReconciliationsFinancialsSales and use tax filingsReview and process treasury requests to include voice verification of wires and ACH'sProviding annual reporting and ad hoc requests to external tax accountantsPerform analytics related to cash, procurement, bank fees, and other items as assignedComplete all other duties as assignedSpecial ProjectsDesired Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:1-3 years of experience in accounting or real estate accounting preferredBachelor's degree in accounting or commensurate experienceTreasury experience to include familiarity with online banking platformsExcellent interpersonal skills with a strong prioritization of customer serviceOrganized and detail-orientedYardi software experience is a plusComfortable in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and WordStrong communication skills with the ability to interact with various internal and external partiesHas a "can do" productive and self?motivated attitudeFlexible and adaptive in a fast?paced and dynamic environment
