• Shift: 12-hour emergency medicine shifts, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Orientation: Onsite orientation required 1 day prior to the first scheduled shift
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,910-$7,000
• Patient Volume: Average of 36 emergency department patients per day
• Facility Setting: 11-bed Emergency Department
• Charting System: Meditech
• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30 days
• Trauma Level: Level III Trauma Center

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine required
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Medicine physician experience required
• Ability to provide efficient, high-quality care in a busy emergency department
• Comfort managing a broad range of emergency medicine cases and acute care presentations
• Ability to work collaboratively with ED RNs, advanced practice providers, and onsite support staff
• Must be able to complete locum tenens credentialing within the expected timeframe
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills

• Provide Emergency Medicine coverage for scheduled locum tenens physician shifts
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to the emergency department
• Manage an average daily census of approximately 36 patients in a fast-paced ED setting
• Admit an estimated 3 patients per shift when clinically indicated
• Collaborate with onsite clinical support staff to ensure timely, effective patient care
• Document patient encounters accurately in Meditech electronic health records
• Support safe, efficient workflow in a 24/7 emergency care environment
