Nursing AssistantThe Inpatient Facility Nursing Assistant is responsible for personal care and related services following a plan of care established by clinical supervision.Qualification RequirementsListed as a CNA with DHSR, as evidence by successfully completed training and has not had a lapse of 24 consecutive months where the aid has not provided services for compensationHigh School diploma or GED preferredMust be physically competent to perform delegated tasks necessary to good patient care and as indicated in patient's plan of careMust be dependable and capable of dealing pleasantly and tactfully with patient, family, staff and the publicExperience preferredQualification for NA IICertified Nursing Assistant II currently listed with the North Carolina Board of NursingEssential FunctionsAbides by and supports 3HC's Compliance Program and Code of EthicsCreates positive experiences for internal and external customersNA I: Administers personal care and hygiene by following established care planNA II: Administers personal care and hygiene by following established care planActs as a facilities preceptor for new employeesImmediately reports and records changes in the patient's mental or physical condition to supervisorDemonstrates proficiency in donning/doffing PPE and verbalizes knowledge of circumstances demanding PPECompletes document via EMR each shiftCompletes housekeeping tasksWorks assigned shifts and holidays as scheduledEmploys Hoyer lift for movement/care of bariatric patientsDemonstrates an interest in personal and professional growth for self and staffDemonstrates a willingness to be cost effective in the use of agency resourcesAdheres to 3HC's Personnel Policy and performs other appropriate duties as assigned by supervisor3HC is an equal opportunity employer.
