Job Title: Accounting Clerk Company: Chapman Chevrolet Location: 1717 E Baseline Rd, Tempe, AZ 85283 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm Pay: $16-$18/per hour, DOE About the Role Chapman Automotive Group is a family-owned dealership organization that has delivered exceptional service and a customer-first experience since 1966. Our Chapman Chevrolet location is currently seeking a detail-oriented General Accounting Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will support dealership operations by performing essential accounting and clerical functions while maintaining accuracy, organization, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform routine accounting and clerical functions to support dealership operations Reconcile and prepare daily cash and credit card deposits Submit and maintain 8300 Cash Reporting Forms in compliance with regulatory requirements Order and maintain dealership office support Process daily cash receipts accurately and in a timely manner File and maintain vehicle deal documentation Provide backup support for various office responsibilities Assist with additional administrative and clerical duties as assigned Qualifications Basic accounting knowledge and understanding required Automotive dealership accounting experience preferred Strong computer proficiency and data entry skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work Organized, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening Compensation & Perks Competitive Pay: $16-$18/per hour, DOE Opportunities for career growth and advancement Supportive, team-oriented workplace Employee discounts and assistance programs Closed on Sundays Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company contributions Life insurance Paid time off and holidays Access to onsite nurse practitioners and wellness support How to Apply Submit your application for consideration.
