Available positions include two openings in Preschool classrooms and one in a Cross-Categorical setting, all focusing on meaningful student engagement. Each classroom features a team approach with a teacher and two assistants, ensuring every student receives individualized attention and care.

Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona special education license for k-12 Mild/Moderate (Moderate/Severe credentials also accepted)
• Previous experience in a special education instructional setting preferred
• Comfortable working with K-8 or preschool groups (caseloads: 10-13 for K-8 and 18-20 for preschool, split into two half-day sessions, four days a week)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families
• Provide direct instruction, adapt curriculum materials, and assess student progress with regular reporting
• Foster an inclusive classroom culture and deliver targeted interventions as needed
• Work alongside dedicated assistants to ensure optimal classroom support and supervision
• Maintain accurate records, comply with state and federal guidelines, and participate in school and parent meetings
