Work Environment

Working onsite in a school setting, you will collaborate with educators, school nurses, and families to ensure comprehensive health support for students. Your work hours will typically be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule that aligns with the academic calendar. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of students to identify their medical needs.
• Diligently diagnose and manage both acute and chronic health conditions prevalent among schoolchildren.

• Prescribe appropriate medications and initiate treatments while adhering to state and federal guidelines.

• Educate students and their families about health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic disease management through targeted workshops and one-on-one counseling sessions.
