Work Environment

The position is based onsite at a reputable hospital in Lakeland, where you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. Our hospital facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic technology, enabling you to leverage advanced modalities and techniques to enhance patient outcomes. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though occasional flexibility may be necessary to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Rebound Physical Therapy, your role will entail:

• Assisting the Physical Therapist in the implementation of customized treatment plans designed to enhance patient mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities aimed at promoting recovery and alleviating pain, while ensuring a compassionate and supportive environment.
• Educating patients on proper body mechanics and exercise techniques to empower them in their rehabilitation journey.
• Administering therapeutic modalities, such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.

Qualifications
