Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist in our rehabilitation facility, you will work onsite in a supportive and collaborative atmosphere where patient care is at the forefront of our operations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical state and develop individualized treatment strategies.

• Design and implement personalized therapy programs aimed at improving strength, mobility, and overall functional capabilities of the residents.

• Regularly monitor and document the progress of residents, adjusting treatment plans based on their evolving needs and outcomes.

• Educate residents and their families on exercises and strategies to promote health and prevent injuries post-treatment.

• Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities to address and remedy physical impairments effectively.

• Adhere to state and federal healthcare regulations, maintaining professional compliance and facility standards at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, focusing on orthopedic conditions that range from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Many of our patients are elderly or have complex comorbidities, requiring a tailored approach to therapy that emphasizes individual needs and sustained improvement in quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; advanced degrees (Master's or Doctorate) from accredited institutions are preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.

• Commitment to patient well-being and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist is required, preferably within a skilled nursing facility or with geriatric patients.

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is beneficial to facilitate accurate documentation and communication.

• Demonstrated ability to engage in ongoing professional development, including continuing education courses and workshops.

Compensation and Benefits
