Easy Start Therapy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time position at our Rehabilitation Center located in Lakeland, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to work a flexible 40-hour week with competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical therapy needs through comprehensive examinations to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practices to promote recovery, increase strength, and restore function for patients experiencing orthopedic and spine-related issues.
• Make independent decisions regarding patient care based on clinical evaluations and situational assessments.
• Maintain thorough documentation of each patient's progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary in compliance with department policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case discussions, contributing clinical insights that enhance collaborative treatment approaches.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, expected outcomes, and home exercise programs to ensure continuity of care.
• Ensure all practices align with company policies, including compliance with safety standards and protection of patient rights and confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, particularly those related to the spine. This rehabilitation setting emphasizes patient-centered care, where you will be instrumental in guiding each patient's recovery journey, addressing both their physical and emotional needs. You will work closely with individuals who are motivated to regain their health and return to their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT). Candidates who graduated in 2003 or later must possess either an MSPT or DPT.
• Must be currently registered/licensed in the state of Florida, maintaining an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification required upon hire and must remain current during employment.

Preferred Experience

Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, preferably with a focus on spine care, is preferred. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, will be beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a collaborative team environment are essential.
