Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients and develop and implement appropriate treatment plans to improve strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and function for a variety of diagnoses in an inpatient setting. The role includes educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. This position requires at least two years of physical therapy experience and current Colorado licensure or compact eligibility. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients to determine physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient strength, range of motion, balance, and functional abilities.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety measures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and professional standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current Colorado Physical Therapist licensure (DORA) or compact eligibility for Colorado.
• Minimum of two years of physical therapy experience; 3-5 years preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Mandatory flu vaccination (no declinations accepted) during flu season (October 1 - April 1).

• Experience working in inpatient settings such as CCU, Acute Care, or Day Surgery.
• Additional certifications or training relevant to inpatient physical therapy.

• This is a traveler assignment covering a leave until approximately May 14, 2027.
• Flu vaccination is mandatory with no declinations accepted during the flu season.
• Work environment includes inpatient units such as CCU, Acute Care, and Day Surgery.

• Work schedule consists of five 8-hour days per week.
• Shift assignments are typically day shifts in an inpatient setting.
