Job Description Sous Chef at LANDED - West Hartford, CT. We are looking for a talented Sous Chef with strong leadership skills and culinary expertise to join our team. Responsibilities Lead a high-functioning BOH team. Manage food and labor costs to maximize profitability. Ensure DOH standards are always followed. Execute dishes to the highest standards with culinary skill and knowledge. Apply thorough knowledge of food handling practices. Understand financial implications of operational decisions. Order products and schedule labor within budget. Form and lead a strong BOH team. Organize, prioritize, and anticipate kitchen needs. Use basic computer and written communication skills. Effective communication skills. A good sense of humor. Must be at least 18 years old. Qualifications Excited to lead a high-functioning BOH team. Ability to manage food and labor costs to maximize profitability. Ability to ensure DOH standards are followed. Culinary skills and knowledge necessary to execute to the highest standards. Thorough knowledge of food handling practices. Understanding of financial implications of operational decisions. Ability to order products and schedule labor within budget.
