Accounting Receivable Specialist

The Accounting Receivable Specialist computes, classifies, records, and verifies numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Communicate with the warehouse and marketing team about customers' orders
• Bill customers
• Collect payment from customers and accurately record it into the system
• Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Verify discrepancies and resolve customers' billing issues
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and customer statements
• Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status
• Assist with processing of payroll cycles as required
• Run payroll reports on payroll cycles as required

Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Should understand the proper booking process for foreign currency transactions.

Education and/or Experience High School diploma or equivalent and 3+ years related experience in processing accounts receivable and payroll. Should understand the proper booking process for foreign currency transactions. QuickBooks and Bamboo HR experience preferred.
