Strategy and Business Growth Lead - New York City, Airbnb We are seeking an experienced leader to drive strategic business growth initiatives for Airbnb’s Experiences business in key markets across the globe. The role focuses on demand strategy, cross‑functional program leadership, and data‑driven operational planning to maximize growth and scale. The Community You Will Join The Experiences Global Growth and New Initiatives Team is the central engine for scaling Airbnb’s Experiences worldwide. The team develops and implements innovative strategies, scales successful initiatives, and establishes a unified growth framework. The Difference You Will Make As a Strategy and Business Growth Lead, you will own demand strategy for priority markets and lead select global cross‑functional programs. Your responsibilities include developing and executing growth strategies, aligning cross‑functional teams, and translating data insights into actionable plans. A Typical Day Develop and implement strategic plans that drive growth for Airbnb's Experiences business. DRI for driving demand in key markets and integrating these efforts into global strategy. Collaborate with product, finance, marketing, community, and sales operations to achieve shared objectives. Leverage analytics to convert insights into operational plans that enhance performance and build system efficiency. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing clear recommendations. Own and influence business outcomes in a high‑growth area, planning for future expansion stages. Think creatively to structure incentives, business models, and ways of working that enable nimble, scalable growth. Your Expertise 10+ years of experience leading complex growth initiatives or business programs in high‑growth environments. Proven track record of building and scaling new businesses, with preference for consumer‑service and digital companies. Experience launching and scaling growth initiatives such as paid marketing, referral programs, ambassador programs, distribution partnerships, affiliates, and creative experiments. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear business strategies. Proficiency in rapid test‑and‑learn cycles to evaluate new growth ideas quickly. Exceptional prioritization skills to understand opportunity and cost trade‑offs. Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels, including executives. Expertise in fostering cross‑functional collaboration, transparency, accountability, and unified vision. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and executing complex programs independently. Strong background in business operations and process improvement. Enthusiasm for community engagement and embodying Airbnb’s core values. Your Location Position based in New York City, New York.
