Role Description The Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Solana Beach, CA, responsible for building and managing relationships with cannabis operators and ancillary businesses seeking financing solutions. This role involves prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting discovery calls, and presenting FundCanna’s funding products tailored to client needs. The Relationship Manager will manage the sales pipeline, guide applicants through the funding process, and collaborate with underwriting and operations teams to ensure a smooth client experience. Daily activities include maintaining regular communication with clients, tracking account activity, identifying opportunities for renewals or additional funding, and meeting or exceeding sales and relationship management targets. The role also requires staying informed about cannabis industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive offerings to effectively position FundCanna’s solutions. Qualifications Strong Business Relationship Management and Communication skills to build trust, maintain long-term partnerships, and clearly explain complex financing solutions. Solid understanding of Finance and lending concepts, including credit risk, working capital, and cash flow, with the ability to translate client needs into appropriate funding products. Proven Sales and Sales Management experience, including pipeline management, deal negotiation, and consistent achievement of revenue or funding volume targets. Experience working with or selling into highly regulated industries; cannabis or specialty finance experience is a plus. Ability to work on-site in Solana Beach, CA, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Comfort with CRM tools and basic productivity software for tracking leads, activities, and performance metrics. Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a client-centric mindset. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Salary Information Base Salary: $70,000 per year Commission: Estimated annual commission of $30,000 – $60,000 (uncapped/based on sales performance metrics) Total Expected First-Year Earnings: $100,000 – $130,000 General Info Although high performance is a mandate, we have fun in a casual and supportive work environment Reports to Sr. Director of Sales Training will be provided on FundCanna product and the Cannabis supply chain.
