Administrative Assistant

Job Description SURESTAFF is immediately hiring an Administrative Assistant for a large, well-known client in Elgin, IL. As a Clerical/Office Help Support Associate for SURESTAFF, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including:

- Warehouse Operations Support
- Administrative Duties
- Greet and assist visitors, applicants, vendors, and customers.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries.
- Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges.
- Order and monitor office supplies and bottled water.
- Serve as the front desk point of contact for general office inquiries.
- Coordinate temporary staffing requests with staffing agencies.
- Prepare and organize onboarding paperwork for temporary employees.
- Communicate scheduling updates with staffing agencies.
- Track and submit temporary employee hours and time records.
- Maintain temporary staffing logs and records.
- Scan, organize, and file HR and temporary employee documentation.
- Maintain an organized supply of temporary employee timecards.
- Previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
