\nClear Haven Capital Management is an asset-backed credit and structured products investment firm founded in 2019, managing $2.5b across five institutional strategies across both public and private markets. The firm is a US-based firm, with offices in New York, NY and Boulder, CO.
\n \nROLE OVERVIEW
\nWe are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate to join our Specialty Finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, experience in financial modeling, portfolio management, and transaction execution. This role will work closely with our senior Originations team to execute specialty finance transactions, enhance performance, and optimize portfolio strategies. This is a full-time, in-office role based in our New York office, five days per week.
\n \nRESPONSIBILITIES
\n• Underwriting and credit analysis including data analysis, financial modeling, drafting investment memos and documentation review
\n• Deal execution – executing transactions through closing
\n• Portfolio monitoring - ongoing surveillance, covenant tracking, manage existing client relationships, and risk rating updates
\n \nQUALIFICATIONS
\n• Bachelor's or Master’s degree (Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field)
\n• 5 - 7 years of experience in specialty finance
\n• Extensive experience with transaction execution, credit structuring, and data analysis.
\n• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel. Experience with Python, VBA, or SQL a plus.
\n• High attention to detail with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
\n• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
\n• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
\n• Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
\n \nCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS
\n• Expected annual base compensation: $150,000 – $175,000
\n• 20 days PTO per year in addition to paid holidays
