• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Support specimen collection processes and prepare samples for timely testing as necessary.
• Maintain thorough documentation of procedures, mentor new team members or students, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Certification from ASCP or AMT in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within one year of hire.
• Maintain valid certification throughout your tenure.
