Kitchen Manager

Responsibilities Deliver a phenomenal guest experience. Oversee day‑to‑day kitchen operations, ensuring smooth coordination between food preparation, cooking, and plating. Maintain optimal workflow during peak periods and adapt as necessary. Build and inspire a high‑performing team with a people‑first mentality that embodies CPK’s culture. Recruit, train, and develop top talent to drive business growth and cross‑train the kitchen staff. Increase sales, profitability, and guest volume while managing the restaurant’s P&L. Forecast, adjust labor expenditures, practice portion controls, prepare budgets, and analyze financial variances. Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form with employees, guests, suppliers, and senior management. Enforce sanitation standards, health and safety procedures, and maintain a safe, healthy work environment. Qualifications Minimum of two years of BOH management experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced restaurant. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional leadership abilities, with a proven track record of motivating, inspiring, and developing a team. Passion for execution, hospitality, and service. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus. Physical Demands Frequent exposure to computer terminals; moderate noise level and temperature. Ability to sit, stand, or walk up to 10 hours per day. Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and lifting of up to 40 lbs. Visual requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Benefits & Compensation USD 63,000–68,000 salary range. Competitive compensation with bonus potential.
