Work Environment

The chosen candidate will work onsite in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. Our center promotes a collaborative team culture, where healthcare providers work alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing a balanced professional and personal lifestyle, and contributing to a positive work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' conditions to assess their mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with the best practices in rehabilitation.
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery strategies, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on patient response.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Manage a caseload of approximately seven patients per day, ensuring individual attention and high-quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapist will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. This may include conditions such as fractures, joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Our patient base is diverse and includes individuals of all ages, from children to seniors, all seeking to restore function and mobility.

Qualifications

• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York State is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is necessary; however, candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy are preferred.
• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and knowledge of evidence-based techniques.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and documentation software.
• Strong communication skills for effective patient and team interactions.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
