Work Environment

With a patient volume averaging 6-7 patients per day, you will have the time to build meaningful relationships with your patients and tailor your approach to meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to develop personalized treatment plans that align with each patient's unique goals and requirements.
• Implement evidence-based hands-on therapy techniques and customized exercise regimens aimed at enhancing patient mobility and functional abilities.
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, recovery techniques, and long-term health maintenance to empower them in managing their health.
• Regularly document patient progress, response to treatment, and modify plans as needed based on patient feedback and clinical evaluations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive and integrated patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical interventions, and chronic pain conditions. Your focus will be on improving their physical function, reducing pain, and enhancing their overall quality of life through targeted therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Physical Therapy license in New York State.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required; a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, their families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with outpatient experience preferred.
• Familiarity with various treatment modalities and techniques relevant to outpatient rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
