Real Estate Paralegal

A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support attorneys handling sophisticated commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions and dispositions, financing transactions, leasing, and development projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex transactions from initial due diligence through closing and post-closing administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, leasing matters, and secured financing arrangements.

• Analyze and summarize title commitments, title reports, surveys, and related property documentation.
\n
• Coordinate due diligence reviews and track critical deliverables and deadlines throughout transactions.
\n
• Prepare, revise, and organize a variety of legal documents, including transaction agreements, loan documentation, closing materials, and client correspondence.
\n
• Support pre-closing and post-closing processes to ensure transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
\n
• Conduct legal and factual research using online research platforms and public resources.
\n
• File and record documents with appropriate governmental agencies and recording offices.
\n
• Communicate with clients, title companies, lenders, surveyors, and other transaction parties regarding document collection and closing requirements.
\n
• Maintain organized transaction files and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
\n
• Accurately record billable time and assist with additional projects as needed.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• 6-10 years of commercial real estate paralegal experience within a law firm environment.
\n
• Strong background in title and survey review, due diligence investigations, document preparation, and transaction closings.
\n
• Demonstrated experience supporting complex real estate acquisitions, financing transactions, and leasing matters.
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
\n
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
\n
• Self-motivated problem solver who can work independently while balancing competing priorities.
\n
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and manage time-sensitive assignments effectively.
\n
• Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
\n
• Occasional travel may be required.
