About the Company We are seeking a high-capacity Director of Operations to serve as the operational leader of a growing organization. This individual will partner directly with the executive leadership team to drive execution, improve accountability, and ensure the business operates efficiently across every department. About the Role This is not a traditional operations role focused solely on processes or financial management. Instead, we're looking for a leader with exceptional emotional intelligence who can align people, create accountability, and translate vision into execution. Responsibilities Leadership & Execution Lead, coach, and hold accountable department leaders across the organization. Create clarity around priorities, ownership, and measurable outcomes. Drive execution of strategic initiatives from concept through completion. Facilitate communication between executive leadership and operational teams. Eliminate bottlenecks and improve organizational effectiveness. Operational Excellence Develop systems and processes that improve efficiency and accountability. Monitor key operational metrics and ensure teams remain focused on critical objectives. Lead weekly leadership meetings, ensuring decisions are made and commitments are completed. Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to improve collaboration and execution. Identify operational risks before they become business problems. People Leadership Build trust throughout the organization. Coach leaders through difficult conversations and performance challenges. Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. Develop future leaders across the organization. Navigate competing personalities and priorities while maintaining alignment around company goals. Strategic Partnership Serve as the right hand to the executive leadership team. Translate high-level vision into executable plans. Balance long-term strategic initiatives with day-to-day operational priorities. Ensure leadership decisions are implemented consistently throughout the organization. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive operational leadership experience. Proven ability to lead leaders rather than individual contributors. Strong executive presence with exceptional emotional intelligence. Experience driving accountability without relying solely on authority. Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to influence diverse personalities and build organizational alignment. Comfortable operating in entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and growth-oriented organizations. Strong business acumen with the ability to understand financial drivers, even if not serving as the primary financial expert. Experience implementing operating systems, leadership cadences, KPIs, or continuous improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
