Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Maryville, TN | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend expected

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Float to like units based on skill set and demonstrated competencies as needed due to census concerns
• Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee or a valid multistate/compact RN license
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates between 50–99.9 miles may be considered at a reduced rate for night shift positions in this specialty

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in both teaching and community hospital settings
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and progressive care environments
