Description Course number and title: BCB410H1F – Applied Bioinformatics (50% FCE of Full Course) Course Description: Practical introduction to concepts, standards and tools for the implementation of strategies in bioinformatics and computational biology. Student led discussions plus a strong component of hands‑on exercises. Qualifications PhD in Bioinformatics or related field required. Demonstrated excellence in teaching is required. Prior experience teaching this or similar course at university level is preferred. R programming is required. Duties Delivery of lectures prepared by other instructors in this course; prepare and grade assignments in accordance with University regulations as described in the Faculty of Arts & Science Academic Handbook; hold office hours.
