Senior Accountant, Finance Operations

Job Description

Eurofarma USA is seeking a Senior Accountant, Finance Operations to support the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of our growing pharmaceutical business. This is a highly visible, hands-on role responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, supporting month-end close, budgeting and forecasting, and partnering with key business functions including Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Human Resources.

The ideal candidate is an experienced accounting professional with strong SAP and Excel skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can effectively balance accounting accuracy with operational support.

What You'll Do

\n

\n
• Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
\n
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses
\n
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with accounting policies and U.S. GAAP
\n
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
\n
• Partner with department leaders to monitor spending and budget performance
\n
• Support purchase order, vendor invoice, and payment review processes
\n
• Manage accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and expense allocations
\n
• Process and review transactions within SAP
\n
• Assist with internal and external audits and compliance requirements
\n
• Develop and enhance financial reports, dashboards, and process improvements
\n
• Support cross-functional teams with operational finance needs and ad hoc reporting
\n

What We're Looking For

\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
\n
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
\n
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles
\n
• Experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting
\n
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
\n
• Hands-on SAP experience
\n
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or manufacturing industry experience
\n
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting
\n
• Knowledge of inventory and fixed asset accounting
\n
• Experience supporting audits and internal controls
\n
• CPA or CPA-track candidate preferred
\n
