As a Security Officer Full Time Site Patrol in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will conduct routine patrols, respond to site needs, and contribute with agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, entry points, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor assigned posts and vehicle traffic, verify authorized access as directed by location policies, and report delivery, visitor, and/or after-hours activity that may require follow-up.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating clearly with site personnel, following post instructions, and assisting with security-related inquiries and/or directions as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
