Legal Assistant (Litigation)
An immediate opening is available for a Legal Assistant in the Newport Beach office. This high-touch, high-visibility role provides exceptional client service and administrative support to attorneys, while also assisting employees, visiting attorneys, and clients as needed. This is a full-time, five-days-in-office position. The ideal candidate is proactive, responsive, and eager to support attorneys and clients effectively.
Salary range: $80,000–$95,000 (CA) Final compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource about firm operations
- Collaborate with off-site word processing services, onsite duplication and office services, travel, billing, and other departments
- Delegate tasks, perform quality checks, and ensure deadlines are met
- Act as liaison between attorneys and IT support to resolve technical issues
- Work closely with assistants across offices and teams to ensure high-level support
Additional Areas of Support:
- Intake, billing, and filings
- Attorney and practice administration
- Marketing and business development support
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High level of professionalism and client service orientation
- Ability to work proactively and follow through on tasks
- Experience in a legal or professional services environment preferred
