Accounting Manager

Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a dedicated Accounting Manager to join their team. As an Accounting Manager, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Nutley, NJ

Pay Range: $75/HR W2

What's the Job?

• Lead the integration of multiple legacy entities onto unified accounting systems, processes, and ledgers following a major divestiture.
• Analyze existing financial structures, reconcile ledger differences, and ensure accuracy across accounts.
• Perform and review general ledger activities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Revenue, and Expense Accounting.
• Evaluate account balances, investigate unusual transactions, and gather supporting documentation.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and standards.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in financial analysis, ledger reconciliation, and process standardization.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
