Associate Attorney

Schedule: 4 Days In-Office / Remote Fridays Compensation: $120,000–$160,000 Base + Bonus A highly respected law firm with more than 100 years of history is seeking a New Jersey-licensed Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join its growing New Jersey practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with approximately 2-5+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience who wants to handle interesting matters without the overwhelming caseload often found at high-volume PI firms. The Opportunity You will work closely with the partner leading the firm's New Jersey practice and manage a reasonable caseload of approximately 20–30 plaintiff personal injury matters . Cases are funneled through the partner, giving the incoming attorney the opportunity to take meaningful ownership of their matters while still having senior-level guidance and support. The office also provides dedicated support staff, including a full-time paralegal and administrative/secretarial support . Qualifications Active license to practice law in New Jersey Approximately 2–3+ years of legal experience Prior plaintiff-side personal injury experience Experience handling New Jersey matters strongly preferred Ability to independently manage a caseload and move cases forward Strong communication, organization, and client-management skills Stable employment history preferred Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the New Jersey office Base salary: $120,000–$160,000 , depending on experience Annual salary review/raises Discretionary year-end/Christmas bonus Additional percentage-based compensation opportunities depending on case origination/referrals Hybrid schedule: four days in-office with remote Fridays #J-18808-Ljbffr
