Senior Accountant

Location: Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) - Hybrid (4 days in office) Position Overview The Senior Accountant will lead core accounting functions for a fast-paced fashion brand, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong operational execution. This role is highly cross-functional, partnering with Merchandising, Production, and Operations to support inventory, costing, and overall business performance. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Oversee general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies Lead inventory accounting, including costing, reserves, and reconciliation with production and merchandising teams Partner cross-functionally to support margin analysis, product costing, and financial planning Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow oversight Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and third-party relationships Drive process improvements and system enhancements (ERP, reporting tools) Supervise and mentor accounting team members Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5-8+ years of experience; mix of public and industry experience preferred CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred Strong knowledge of US GAAP Experience with inventory and cost accounting (critical in apparel) Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) Experience in fashion, retail, or consumer goods required Strong attention to detail with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr RE/DONE
