Business Development Manager (DACH) (BBBH3506) Germany Salary: €100,000 – €120,000 per annum Location Germany. Candidates must currently reside within the DACH region, be willing to relocate to Germany or travel frequently to the region. The Opportunity We are partnering with a leading international food manufacturing and agribusiness organisation seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to drive growth across Germany and the wider DACH region. This high‑profile commercial role focuses on managing key foodservice and wholesale accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in shaping commercial strategy within a fast‑paced, international environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and develop strategic customer relationships across Germany and the DACH region. Identify and secure new business opportunities within foodservice, wholesale, retail, and distribution channels. Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing structures, contracts, and product specifications with customers. Deliver commercial growth through effective account management and business development activities. Develop and implement category and sales plans to maximise revenue and profitability. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities. Ensure the optimal product mix within customer accounts while maintaining margin objectives. Manage customer contracts, pricing reviews, and commercial performance across the territory. Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events, and trade exhibitions. Candidate Profile Fluent German and English speaker (essential). 2–5+ years’ experience in a commercial, sales, account management, or business development role within the meat, protein, food manufacturing, foodservice, agribusiness, or FMCG sectors. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Degree qualified in Business, Sales, Food Science, Food Innovation, Agriculture, or a related discipline. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills. Commercially driven with the ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively. Experience working with foodservice, wholesale, retail, or distribution customers would be highly advantageous. Knowledge of international logistics, exports, or supply chain operations would be beneficial but is not essential. Full driving licence. Must be based within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, or Switzerland) or willing to relocate to Germany or travel frequently to the region.
