Overview Registered Nurse – NICU travel assignment in Lodi, California. Start date 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,732–$1,808. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,732–$1,808 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Three 12-hour shifts (day shift) Start date: 09/14/2026 Work setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital NICU travel assignment Opportunity for extension with strong performers Responsibilities Deliver direct neonatal nursing care for a patient or patient group in the NICU, adhering to established standards of care and the nursing process Monitor neonatal status, interpret assessment data, and implement care plans to promote stability and growth Administer medications, oversee respiratory therapies, and manage measurements and IV lines as ordered Collaborate with the care team (neonatology, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, social work, lactation consultants) to coordinate and optimize care Supervise and coordinate activities of other nursing staff and assistive personnel; delegate tasks appropriately Participate in rounds, discharge planning, and family education to support safe transition from hospital to home Maintain a safe, healing environment; respond to clinical changes and emergencies in accordance with NICU protocols; may float to postpartum units per unit needs Requirements Active RN license in the state of practice (California) Minimum two years of recent experience in the field; NICU or acute care experience preferred Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) acceptable per policy Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) preferred; not required Ability to work in a NICU setting and comply with unit policies; may float to postpartum as needed Benefits and Support Dedicated support throughout the assignment 24/7 recruiter and travel support Extension opportunities for qualified performers Fast credentialing and onboarding assistance Access to nationwide travel assignments within the organization Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
