Key Responsibilities of the Billing Specialist

• Generate and process invoices for service work orders, maintenance agreements, and project-related activities
• Review completed work orders and scope of work notes to ensure labor, materials, subcontractor costs, and billable expenses are accurately captured
• Coordinate with technicians, project managers, and service teams to verify billing details and resolve discrepancies
• Monitor open work orders, billing queues, and aging reports to ensure timely invoicing and revenue recognition
• Support customer billing inquiries, maintain customer account information, and assist with monthly reporting and audit preparation

Qualifications for the Billing Specialist

• 2+ years of billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable experience, preferably within a service, construction, or project-based environment
• Experience with SamPro strongly preferred
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently, stay focused, and manage multiple priorities efficiently
