Dunn Carney’s Construction & Design and Public Agency Teams are expanding! We are seeking a seasoned construction attorney with 7-10+ years of experience in transactional and advice work to join one of Portland’s premier firms. This position will involve representing public agencies, schools, and other owners regarding construction, procurement, real estate, transactions, and dispute resolution. A portable book of business is desired, but not required. The preferred candidate will have experience in commercial construction and related transactions, including work with public agencies and their consultants. We are seeking a self-starter who is actively engaged in their own career development and is dedicated to delivering excellent, client-focused legal services. The preferred candidate should possess the following qualifications: Strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail. Well-developed legal research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. Demonstrated organizational and time-management competencies including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Willingness to take ownership and primary responsibility for assigned matters, and work collaboratively with others. Belief in the value of diversity and teamwork.
