Oncology Sales Specialist - Eastern Long Island, NY

Overview Grow and accelerate your career with our Oncology Sales organization and join a team that’s driven to make an impact on cancer patients! We take a customer‑centric approach by leveraging emerging digital technologies and data analytics to better understand our patients' needs. This field‑based position covers Eastern Long Island, New York, and includes parts of Nassau and Suffolk County. Key Responsibilities Engage customers to address identified needs, educate key stakeholders about our oncology products, and actively work to achieve or exceed assigned sales goals. Build trust and business relationships with key stakeholders while uncovering and understanding their practice structure, business model, and influencing factors. Use approved resources and messaging to communicate a compelling, patient‑centered rationale for our oncology products in their indicated uses. Analyze and identify trends in a complex buying environment, including multiple channels of drug distribution. Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term plans in collaboration with the local team and district manager. Ask insightful questions to understand customer priorities and support engaging, relevant conversations about the product portfolio. Ensure a consistent customer experience across our company’s division and functional areas and share key learnings. Co‑operate with the customer team (including key account manager, nurse educator, field reimbursement associate, Medicare account executive, etc.). Travel within the territory and for national sales meetings/conferences. Overnight travel 10–15% of the time. Qualifications Minimum: Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of sales experience OR high school diploma with at least 10 years of equivalent experience, including professional sales, healthcare/scientific, marketing, or military experience. 2+ years of oncology field‑based experience selling an oncology therapeutic to oncology customers. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a vehicle. Reside in or within a reasonable distance to the district. Preferred Experience & Skills Oncology field sales or clinical oncology experience. Documented history of strong performance in a sales/marketing or oncology clinical role. Skills: Account management, adaptability, business relationship building, client‑centric, clinical experience, customer engagement, customer‑focused, healthcare sales, interpersonal relationships, lead generation, marketing, medical devices, oncology nursing, product knowledge, purchasing management, strategic thinking. Benefits Salary Range: $156,900.00 – $247,000.00. Annual bonus and long‑term incentive (if applicable). Medical, dental, vision, and other insurance benefits for employees and families.
